Decent work and economic growth

The idea of SDG 8 is to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth by reaching full and productive work for all within the bounds of a safe working environment. While SDG  1 drives countries’ attention towards poverty eradication, SDG 8 refers to broader economic targets such as economic growth, productivity, technological diversification, financial inclusion, and worldwide tourism. The Elcano Royal Institute has published several works on inclusive growth focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa.
